Field Rules
- All club members are expected to appear for all
general work details that are set up to improve the club status and field.
- It will be the responsibility of all club members
to police the field and pit area before departing for the day.
- Good sportsmanship will govern time spent on a
frequency and rotation of flight periods so that others with the same frequency
may also fly.
- A guest flying or otherwise using the field must
be a current AMA member or be in the process of becoming an AMA and Club
member.
- All beginning or new flyers shall become acquainted
with the club fields rules and be accompanied by a club flight instructor
or club member.
- All members are responsible to see that children
or guests do not stray onto the active flying field during flight operations.
Children or guests should have explained to them the hazards of running
or playing in the pit area.
- No transmitters shall be turned on without first
obtaining that frequency and pinning that frequency in use with your pin,
on the flight board.
- After all pre flight checks are completed, the
aircraft may be taxied from the pit area to the runway using caution, however
upon landing and returning to the pit area, the engine shall be shut OFF
at the fence line. NO taxiing will be allowed in to the pit area, pull,
drag or carry it into the pit area.
- Every precaution shall be exerted to preclude any
flying over the pit area.
- There shall be NO TAKE OFFS OR LANDING’S, on the

- Take off’s and landings will be attempted in the
center of the field and with due caution to others.
- The models
flight shall stay within a safe visual distance to keep control of the craft.
- Pilots must maintain the established pattern over
the field.
- Dead stick
landings and people out in the field have priority over powered aircraft.
- Announcements of loss of power shall be yelled
at the flight line when a dead stick occurs.
- Full Throttle run ups shall be made at either ends
of the flight line at the engine test stations not at the pit station.
- Club safety officer has total control of imposing
fines for violators of club rules, if deemed necessary by the club board
of directors.
